About Me

I’m Steven, a Canberra based photographer who specialises in landscape and sports photography. I’m also interested in expanding my area of expertise into wedding, portrait, astro, and architecture.

My photography journey started when almost 10 years ago my uncle gave me a Canon 50D with a Canon EF-S 18-200mm f3.5-5.6 lens and a Canon 50mm f1.4 lens, all of which I still possess to this day. I spent a very long time looking for inspirations and what area of photography I’m interested in. This included being the official sports photographer of my high school back in New Zealand.

Currently I shoot with a Canon 6D Mark II (the first camera I spent my money on), with a selection of lenses including the Canon EF 24-70mm f2.8L II (the first new lens that I bought, as well as the first L lens I bought), the Canon EF 16-35mm f2.8L II, the Canon EF 70-200mm f2.8L IS II, and the Canon EF 100mm f2.8L IS USM. I shoot most of the panoramas on my phone, but some of them were shot on the Lomography Horizon Perfekt with Ilford PAN 400 B/W films.
